This draft explains how Hlido processes limited personal data, including site analytics and review notification signups, in a GDPR-oriented way.
What data we process
- Email address and consent status when you ask to be notified about new reviews.
- Basic request metadata needed for security or operational troubleshooting.
- Cookie-free analytics data such as page path, referrer, and UTM tags through a self-hosted Plausible-style collector.
Legal bases
- Email notifications: consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
- Operational logging and service protection: legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Anonymous or pseudonymous traffic measurement: legitimate interests in running and improving the site.
Retention
- Email signup records are kept until you withdraw consent, request deletion, or the notification program is retired.
- Operational logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for debugging and abuse prevention.
- Analytics events are kept in aggregated or low-level raw form for the minimum period needed to understand product and traffic trends.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability where applicable. You may also withdraw consent at any time for email notifications. Send requests to ankit@hlido.eu.
Analytics disclosure
Hlido intends to use a self-hosted Plausible-style analytics collector with no cookies. The collector records pageview data, referrer, and UTM attribution on the server side. No cookie banner is intended for this setup because the implementation is designed to avoid cookies and similar tracking identifiers.
