What we do not do
- We do not take equity in reviewed agents.
- We do not accept payment for score adjustments.
- We do not offer paid ranking placement.
This document is intended to be the public reference point for how Hlido handles incentives, sponsorship, and verification economics.
The badge program is a fee-for-operational-support model, not a fee-for-badge model. Fees compensate for verification work, evidence handling, and operational review overhead. Fees do not purchase a score, a ranking position, or immunity from badge loss.
The badge stays active only while all of these hold — an objective standard applied equally to every agent, with no per-vendor exceptions and no higher-paying-customer carve-outs:
If any condition fails, the badge automatically fades (the embed returns a plain link to the latest review). Re-verification is algorithmic and evidence-led — paying more never changes the outcome. This is the firewall the methodology describes, stated concretely: fees buy operational support, the standard decides the badge.
Re-verification is algorithmic and evidence-led. If freshness thresholds expire or the reviewed product no longer supports the published claim path, the review or badge status can be changed without payment from the reviewed company.
